Xiaomi SmartWatch Revealed & it seems heavily inspired by Apple Watch: Report


As if you are a regular reader of our Web-Magazine TechOnTrend, you will be knowing that yesterday, we posted a report where Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it would be releasing a new smartwatch alongside the Mi CC9 Pro and some other products at 5th November launch event.

Today, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun has revealed a render which shows the upcoming Xiaomi SmartWatch and no one will deny that it seems to be inspired by Apple Watch.

As per the revealed poster of upcoming Xiaomi SmartWatch, the will come in two band colors, one will be elegant black and the other one will be silver. It will feature a rectangular screen similar to Apple Watch, apart from that the power button is also placed identical to Apple Watch. So it is not bad to say that Xiaomi has lacking the originality and this smartwatch is heavily inspired by Apple Watch. But it might make some Mi fans happy that they will get a clone of Apple Watch at a cheaper price tag.

Apart from the look and design of the smartwatch, some of its internal specs have also been revealed. The all new Xiaomi SmartWatch will feature a high performance CPU along with independent GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules. Apart from that it will also have independent linear motor as well as speakers inside it. Further the revealed report suggests that the battery will also be pretty large and the upcoming Mi SmartWatch will support eSIM too similar what Apple Watches does.

In earlier reports Xiaomi has also claimed that they will be launching a new SmartWatch which will not be a Mi Band, and with these features and design it is really going to make all the Mi fans happy. Apart from this Xiaomi Mi SmartWatch there are plenty of smartwatches available in market which is a clone of Apple Watch. But let’s see on what price the company will launch and what will be the in hand feel.
