Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi 6A set to Launch in India on September 5
Xiaomi has launch the all new Redmi 6 series smartphone in china few months back and now the Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro and the Redmi 6A all are just set to be launch in India soon. Manu Kumar Jain who is the Managing Director of India in Xiaomi shared a tweet which hinted the launch of three different Redmi 6 devices in India. the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6A is the successor of very popular Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A. A separate invite was also been shared which confirmed the launch date of these smartphone which is set at 5th of September.
As you have seen in the tweet he said, “#DeshKeNayeSmartphones! Mi fans! We’ve got more than one for you! Coming Very Soon.” This statement doesn’t clarify any thing regarding the launch of Redmi 6 series smartphones but this 9sec video contains a big 6 which may indicate towards the Redmi 6 series smartphones. At the end of the video three smartphone design has shown two with big display and one with notch display which may indicate the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A and the Redmi 6 Pro which comes with notch display.
The launch date is not mentioned in the tweet. But the company has sent invite to media for the launch of new smartphone. The lunch event is schedule for 5th of September in New Delhi. As we have seen the handset when it was launch in China but again let’s have a slight look on the key specification of these device so we can understand what the company is going to offer us on 5th September launch event. But before that let’s have a look pricing details.
As far the pricing of these device is concerned the Redmi 6 is priced in china at CNY 799 (around Rs. 8,400) for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant, CNY 999 (around Rs. 10,500) for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Coming towards the Redmi 6A, this handset price is set at CNY 599 (around Rs. 6,300) for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant. And the bigger brother among these two devices which is Redmi 6 Pro, its price is set at CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 12,500) for 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant and CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 13,600) for 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant.
The main highlighting point of these three handsets are that the Redmi 6 and 6A coming with 18:9 aspect ratio display which is bigger than the old one and the all ne Redmi 6 Pro comes with 19:9 aspect ratio display having notch at the top of the display.
