Xiaomi Confirmed to be working on Redmi Note 8 : Report

Xiaomi is now started prepping to launch the next Note series smartphone which is none other than Redmi Note 8, successor to Redmi Note 7 in China. After speculations that the brand is set to unveil next note series smartphone which is Redmi Note 8 appear on internet, the Xiaomi VP has given that news a official confirmation.

Lu Weibing, the General Manager of the Redmi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 is started to move closer to launch. He said “Redmi Note 8 is much stronger that the next door…,” his statement doesn’t give us alot of details but it confirms the existence of the Redmi Note 8 smartphone which will be the next Redmi Note series lineup.

It seems like with Redmi Note series Xiaomi is following six month cycle. They are upgrading the Redmi Note series line-up in six months. The Redmi Note 7 was launched in China in the month of January and now that smartphone was in sale for six month so, as seeing the Xiaomi refresh cycle, the brand has reached its time to launch the successor of the Redmi Note 7.

In a press conference netizens asked Wang Teng, Xiaomi’s Product Director about the Redmi Note 8 Launch in August, his response led to rumors of Redmi Note 8 Launch in August. The launch date is not confirmed yet, but we expect that it will be last of August or in first half of September. It is expected that the handset will come with great improvement in respect to older one and will definitely replace the trending Redmi Note 7 Pro.

As we all know that tomorrow on 7th of August, Xiaomi has announced an innovation event where they will showcase and breaks the cover from their 64MP camera. it is being expected that the Redmi Note 8 may debut with 64MP camera.
