Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has now confirmed that the much rumored Redmi K30 phone will set to launch in December 2019. This new smartphone will feature 5G support.

Previous reports has claimed that the launch of these smartphones will be delayed to next year. But now at Xiaomi Developers Conference, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that the Redmi K30 5G model will be launch in December. Privious reports also suggested that there will be a Redmi K30 Pro variant, and this might be launching next year in 2020.

According to a Chinese Media Anzhuo report, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed the launch timeline of the Redmi K30 5G variant at Xiaomi Developers Conference. Lei Jun confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K30 5G model will launch in December this year. Which means we are going to see the Redmi K30 next month. But we can’t ignore Redmi General manager Lu Weibing’s statement, he claimed that the handset will being delayed till next year.

It could be possible that the Redmi K30 5G variant may just unveiled this year and the availability of the handset will be scheduled for sometime in January or February 2020.

In previous report, Weibing suggested that a Redmi K30 5G smartphone launch is delay, he further claimed that the Xiaomi need to overcome a series of technical difficulties in 5G network. But now Lei Jun statement has changed everything. Lets see what they have planned for their fans, there might be a chance that they are doing so to gain attention of the peoples or want to generate some hype.

The Redmi K30 5G series is expected to come with 5G support and there will also be 4G variant alongside.
