Facebook officially launches the Whatsapp Business app for android. As from near about last 2 month this app was being tested with business like “BookMyShow” and “MakeMyTrip” in India. And now this app is ‘available for download’ via Google Play store in selected regions like Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, UK and US. This app will be available for more regions soon may be in coming weeks. As of now this is only available for android but the firm will also soon have a version for Apple’s iPhone platform.
The company said “Whatsapp Business app will make it easier for small companies to connect with customers, and more convenient for our 1.3 billion whatsapp users to chat with business that matter to them.”
This app will offer you to make a business profile which will help the customers to get useful information regarding your business such as Store address, business description, contact information like email and website etc.
This app will also provide some tools like quick replies, automated replies which will provide fast answering to frequently asked question, greeting messages which will introduce the customer to the business and also away messages which will let the customer know that you are busy or the shop is closed. It will also backup with some statistics which will show the reach and effectiveness. And the best and most popular thing is that you can also use whatsapp web to bring whatsapp business app to your desktop.
Whatsapp Said that People will clearly know that they are talking and chatting to a business account because the account will be listed as Whatsapp Business Account.
