Sony Xperia 8 with Snapdragon 630 processor Launched: Price, Specs


Finally Sony has launched the much hyped Sony Xperia 8. Similar to all newly launched Sony Xperia 8 smartphone the main highlight of the Sony Xperia 8 also include the 21:9 CinemaWide screen.

The handset price starts from JPY 54,000 which is around $500 or INR 35,866. Let’s move further and take a look at Sony Xperia 8 specification and feature highlights.

Sony Xperia 8 features a 6-inch FHD+ LCD Triluminous Display having a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels with a tall 21:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via using microSD card upto 512GB.

In terms of camera, the handset comes with dual camera setup which combines a 12MP primary sensor having f/1.8 aperture and 8MP secondary camera sensor having f/2.4 aperture. On front it has 8MP front facing camera.

As far as OS of Sony Xperia 8 is concerned, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and promises to get update of Android 10 in future. It bears a 2760mAh battery.

The handset will be available in four different color options Black, White, Orange and Cyan. It will be exclusive to the Japanese market. As for now there is no word on other country launch it is expected that it will be available globally by the end of the October.
