Sony Experia 1 launched at MWC 2019 with 4K Display, triple Rear Camera Setup: Specs & Price
Sony has finally launched the Sony Experia 1 with an ultra-tall design having 21:9 aspect ratio 4K HDR Supported CinemaWide display at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. The all new Sony Experia 1 smartphone, which is actually a successor to the Xperia XZ3 which was previously rumoured to be Sony Experia XZ4 but the company named it Sony Experia 1. This smartphone is the world’s first 4K OLED display smartphone.
Apart from the display and design it also provides a triple rear camera setup powered by Eye AF technology and supports upto 10 fps burst shooting with AF/AE tracking. This smartphone also comes with Dolby Atmos integration to offers a surround sound experience.

Sony Experia 1 Full Specification and Feature highlights
The all new Sony Experia 1 offers a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED CinemaWide display with a 21:9 aspect ratio having resolution of 1644×3840 pixels. The display comes with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The display panel also said to support 10-bit tonal gradation and has a wide color space ITU-R BT.2020 and DCI-P3 with Illuminant D65. The display of is also powered by Sony’s own X1 for mobile engine. This handset is powered by latest flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further increased via using microSD card upto 512GB.
In terms of camera, the Sony Experia x1 offers a triple rear facing camera combining a 12MP primary Exmor RS mobile sensor having f/1.6 aperture, 78-degree lens, OIS photo and hybrid OIS/EIS video stabilization support. A 12MP secondary sensor having f/2.4 aperture 135-degree wide-angle lens and a 12MP tertiary sensor with an f/2.4, 45-degree lens along with same OIS photo and OIS/EIS video stabilization support. Moving towards the front section it has 8MP front facing camera having f/2.0 aperture wide angle lens for better selfies and video callings.
Moving towards the other specification and feature details, it is a dual SIM (nano) device runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. In terms of network connectivity options it includes 4G, Wi-Fi 802 11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. This handset comes with 3,300mAH battery comes with support of Xperia Adaptive Charging.
Sony Experia 1 Price and Availability
Sony just announced the Sony experia 1 at the MWC but they didn’t said anything about the pricing of the handset. But a report has came which claims that the Sony Experia 1 will be priced around EUR 799 (around Rs. 74,200). It is said that the handset will go in sale in US from late spring and will be available in Black and Purple color options. It will also be available in Grey and White color variants in Global.
