Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Launched at Rs. 20,000

Just before the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 launch, Samsung has announced the Galaxy Watch Active 2. This new smartwatch has the similar design to its predecessor which was launched six month ago and now Samsung has added the bezel controls which were skipped on the Active smartwatch. The all new Samsung galaxy Watch Active 2 will be available to buy from 27th of September and the price will starts from $279 (around INR 20,000).

The all new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in two variant one comes in an Aluminium and other one in Stainless Steel case variant and also in two size 40mm and 44mm. Apart from that there is also an LTE and Wi-Fi model available. The Aluminium variant will come in cloud silver, aqua black and pink gold color shades while the stainless steel will come in silver, black and gold color with leather strap.

Now moving towards specification of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, the 40mm dial watch has 1.2-inch display while the 44mm dial watch has 1.4-inch AMOLED display having resolution of 360×360 pixels. The display on both models are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ and the watch is also water resistance with IP68 rating.

The watch has Exynos 9110 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It has 340mAh battery which can also be charged wirelessly. It has Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, a heart rate monitor, and ECG capabilities. This smartwatch is running on Tizen OS. In terms of sensors it has gyroscope, barometer and ambient light sensor.
