Samsung Galaxy M40 with Triple Rear Camera Launched in India: Price & Specs


Samsung has finally launched its new Galaxy M40 smartphone in India after numerous leaks and rumors. The all new Samsung Galaxy M40 comes Snapdragon 675 processor, full HD+ Infinity O display and triple rear camera setup.

It doesn’t has dedicated earpiece instead of that they are using screen sound technology and this smartphone is the first in its segment which provides this feature. With these features and some more smartphone it seems like Samsung is getting back in the game to give a tough competition to mid-range kings Xiaomi, Realme, HMD Global smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy M40 Specification and Feature Highlights

Moving towards the Samsung Galaxy M40 specification, it features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity O Display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. The display also comes with Samsung’s screen sound technology which produces audio vibrations on the handset. This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and Adreno 612 GPU coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further increased via using microSD card upto 512GB.

In terms of Camera, the Samsung Galaxy M40 offers a triple rear camera setup that comes with a 32MP primary sensor having AI scene optimiser and f/1.7 aperture lens, a 5MP secondary depth sensor having f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP tertiary sensor with 123 degree ultra wide angle lens. On front this new smartphone comes with 16MP front facing camera having f/2.0 aperture.

This smartphone runs on Samsung One UI over Android 9.0 Pie. it bears a 3,500mAh battery that comes with 15W fast charging technology. In terms of network and connectivity options it include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C.

Samsung Galaxy M40 Price and Availability

The all new Samsung Galaxy M40 is priced at Rs. 19,990 in India for the only one variant which comes with 6GB of RAM+128GB of internal storage. This smartphone will be available in Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue gradient color options and will go on sale from 18th of June via Amazon India and Samsung Online Shop.
