Samsung Galaxy Fold confirmed to launch in India | Galaxy S10 5G also Planned to launch Soon : Report
At the launch of Samsung galaxy S10 series smartphone in India, DJ Koh the president and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung revealed that the brand will bring the Samsung Galaxy Fold device to India, but he didn’t said anything about the exact launch date, he just said the Galaxy Fold will launch in India following its release in other countries.
According to gadget 360, DJ Koh said ,“Indian Market is, I clearly said, most important market not only investment and everything, my long-term commitment is towards the market. In this market, why will I not deliver my newest technology innovation? Yes, I will do.” Furthermore he also revealed that the company wants to manufacture the Galaxy Fold in India so that they can keep the price low he said, “Because of taxes, we must make in India, to sell in India.”
DJ Koh has also hinted the Samsung galaxy S10 5G variant launch in India. He said “We are working with the carriers here (in India) depends on their progress. Samsung is ready to support all 5G frequencies – not only sub-6 [GHz] but millimetre wave as well”
Samsung Galaxy Fold Specification and Feature Highlights
For those who didn’t know about Samsung Galaxy Fold, this is the world’s first foldable smartphone from Samsung. Here we will see a slight look at the Samsung Galaxy Fold specs and feature details.
Moving towards the specification and feature highlights of the Samsung galaxy Fold, it comes with dual display. On the outside it has a 4.6 inch HD+ super AMOLED display having 21:9 aspect ratio. The second is a 7.3 inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED display having 4.2:3 aspect ratio. Samsung call named this display “Infinity Flex Display”. This handset is powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This smartphone didn’t support any microSD card to expand the storage.
In terms of Camera, Samsung Galaxy Fold have total 6 cameras. Three are placed at the rear, two are placed at inside and one is on the front. Let’s start from the front, it have a 10MP selfie camera on the outside. At back it has a triple rear camera setup which consists of 12MP wide angle lens with dual aperture, the second one is of 12MP telephoto lens and the third one is a 16MP ultra wide angle sensor. Now when the device is unfold, there are two cameras inside, one is of 10MP and the second is of 8MP
For powering this smartphone Samsung has used two batteries in the phone which are placed on two sides of the handset. The batteries combine their energy and offer a total capacity if 4,380mAh.
