Samsung Galaxy A80 launched in India at Rs. 47,990: Price, Specs & Features


Samsung has recently announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A80 in India. This handset is the highest priced handset among Galaxy A-Series smartphones. This handset was available in selected market globally and now finally it will be available in India.

The company has launched only one variant of this handset which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The main highlight of this handset is its flip camera which makes the rear camera flip to front while taking selfies. Let’s move further and dig some more information about the device.

Samsung Galaxy A80 Specs, Features & Price

Samsung Galaxy A80 sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels with 20:9 aspect ratio. This device has notch-less display. There is no punch hole or any waterdrop notch. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This device is powered by Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy A80 comes with 48MP primary sensor having f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP secondary camera having f/2.2 aperture and a third ToF 3D camera for depth. All these three cameras also double as front facing camera using unique sliding mechanism which rotates the camera and bring it to front for taking selfies and video calls.

The all new Samsung Galaxy A80 bears a 3,700mAh battery which comes with 25W fast charging support. It has in-display fingerprint sensor and all the necessary sensor.

Moving towards the availability and pricing of this device in India. As above mentioned for Indian Market Samsung has launched only one Variant which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at 47,990. This handset will be available in three color options which include Phantom Black, Angle gold and Ghost White. The handset will be available for pre-book from 22nd of July to 31st of July.
