After many leaks and rumors Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Redmi Note 8 Series smartphones in Beijing. The Redmi which is a sub-brand of Xiaomi has launched two new smartphones under Redmi Note 8 Series – Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. But as we have seen that with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Series, it is quite possible that in coming months the brand may add some more smartphones in Redmi Note 8 Series similar like the Redmi Note 7S.
The all new Redmi Note 8 comes with a gradient design and minor upgrades over its predecessor, like it has now little powerful processor, Quad rear camera setup, slimmer bezels in compare to Redmi Note 7 and many more things has been improved.

Moving towards the Redmi Note 8 specification and features highlights, it offers a 6.39-inches full hd+ display having a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset has glass on both the side front as well as rear. Bothe the side is protected by corning gorilla glass 5. This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with upto 6GB of RAM and comes with upto 128GB of internal storage.
Moving towards the Camera, it comes with Quad rear Camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor combining an 8MP wide angle shooter camera, and two 2MP Camera. on front it has 13MP front facing camera.
This is a dual SIM handset. It runs on MIUI 10 over Android 9 Pie out of the box. It bears a 4,000mAh battery and comes with support of 18W fast charging support. It also has USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack, IR Blaster.
Moving towards its pricing, the base variant of the Redmi Note 8 comes with 4GB of RAM+64GB of internal storage which is priced at CNY 999 (around INR 10,000). The 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,199 (around INR 12,000) and the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (around INR 18,000). This handset will be available to purchase in China from 17th of September.
This handset is expected to be launch soon in India. as we all are well known about this , that the main market of Xiaomi after china is non other than India, and the Note series is the most popular series of Redmi for Indian market.
