Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 8 along with Redmi Note 8 Pro in a launch event held in New Delhi India. The main highlight of the Redmi Note 8 is Quad rear camera setup having 48MP main sensor, water drop notch display, dedicated microSD card slot, upto 128GB internbal stotrfage, 18W fast charging support, 4000mAh battery.
Apart from the Redmi Note 8, the company also launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro which also comes with Quad rear camera setup but having 64MP main shooter, 4,500mAh battery at Rs. 14,999.

Redmi Note 8 Specification and Features Highlights
The all new Redmi Note 8 comes with 6.39-inch full HD+ display having a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels with TUV Rheinland protection, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a waterdrop notch at the top middle of the display. The handset is having Corning Gorilla Glass protection on both front as well as back panel. This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via using dedicated microSD card.
In terms of Camera, this handset comes with quad rear camera setup having 48MP main shooter with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle shooter having 120 degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture and two 2 MP camera – one is micro lens and other one is for depths sense. On front it has 13MP front facing camera having f/2.0 aperture.
Moving towards other specs of the handset, it runs on MIUI 10 over Android 9 Pie out of the box. It bears a 4,000mAh battery and comes with support of 18W fast charging technology. It has USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi and more.
Redmi Note 8 Price and Availability in India
The base variant of Redmi Note 8 which comes with 4GB of RAM+64GB of internal storage is priced at Rs. 9,999. The 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999. The first sale will take place on 21st of October via Amazon India, Mi.com and all mi home stores in three differ color options, Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, Space Black.
