Redmi Go Smartphone Launched in India at Rs. 4,499: Specs & Feature


Finally the company has launched the Redmi Go smartphone in India. Xiaomi was planning to launch the Redmi Go device for a while. The Redmi Go is an Android Go based OS smartphone and it is the first Android Go smartphone from the Xiami. This is also the most affordable device from xiaomi as for now in India.

The main highlight of the Xiaomi Redmi Go smartphone is its, HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, 4G connectivity and comes with 3,000mAh battery. Redmi Go Specification and Feature :Launched in India at Rs. 4,499

Moving towards the specification and feature section of the Redmi Go an Android Go smartphone, it sports a 5-inch HD display having resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The storage can be further increased via dedicated microSD card slot upto 128GB.

In terms of Camera, Redmi Go smartphone has a single 8MP rear facing camera having an f/2.0 aperture, and a single LED flash. The rear camera also support HD video recording and some more HDR features. On front, the Redmi Go has a 5MP front facing camera having f/2.2 aperture.

As the name suggest, the Redmi Go comes with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition). It is a dual SIM handset with dedicated microSD card slot. In terms of network and connectivity options, it include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack. This handset has a 3,000mAh battery for power backup.

Xiaomi Redmi Go Price in India and Availability

The all new Redmi Go smartphone price is set at Rs. 4,499 for the 1GB RAM/8GB storage model. The device will be available in two different color options Black and Blue. As we mentioned, the device will be available via Flipkart and and also will be available on Mi Home Stores from 22nd of March.
