Redmi 7 will Launch alongside Redmi Note 7 Pro in China on March 18: Xiaomi VP Hints

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro which was launched few days back in India is all set to launch in China on 18th of March. The Redmi Note 7 Pro was a good upgrade from Redmi Note series but after the launch of newly smartphone from its competitor company like Asus, Honor and Realme the completion has reached its peak. So to solidify its position Xiaomi will be launching the entry level Redmi 7 series smartphones.

As for now the Redmi 7 seris smartphones are not been launched any where even its not launch in China yet. The Xiaomi President  Lu Weibing has revealed on its official Weibo account that the company is planning to launch a new product on 18th of March, he further mentioned that the company must prepare a large stock for the upcoming product. As we all know that the redmi series smartphones are affordable and so they sell in a large number in comparison to higher priced smartphone of xiaomi.

Redmi 7 Specs, Feature and Price (leaked)

The all new Redmi 7 hasn’t been unveiled yet neither in China nor in India, but as usual its design and key specs has been leaked few days back. According to information published on TENAA website, the upcoming redmi 7 device will come with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD screen having a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The handset will run on Anroid 9.0 pie over MIUI 10 out of the box. This handset is suppose to be powered by newly launched Snapdragon 632 processor. it will come in 2GB RAM+16GB storage , 3GB RAM+32GB storage and the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variants. It will also support microSD card slot.

In terms of other specification, it will feature a 12MP+2MP dual rear camera setup. On front it will feature an 8MP selfie camera. The phone will also have rear mounted fingerprint sensor and will come with 4,000mAh battery.

Lu Weibing has also hinted towards the starting price of the two variants which is CNY 700 (around Rs. 7,313) and CNY 800 (around Rs. 8,358) for two variants. This is all for now the official specs and pricing will be unveiled with the actual launch of the product. Stay tune for more info.
