Redmi 64MP Camera Smartphone will launch in India in Q4, Xiaomi 100MP Camera Phone will also Coming: Report


From last couple of weeks it has been in rumor that 64MP camera smartphone is going to be the next step in smartphone industry. Realme, Redmi, Samsung all has said about their 64MP camera smartphone.

Xiaomi on Wednesday shared a little more details regarding their first 64MP camera smartphone. The company has confirmed that the new 64MP camera smartphone will be released under their sub-brand Redmi and they will be using recently launched Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. apart from this they also noted that the Redmi’s 64MP camera smartphone will launch in India Q4 this year. So we can expect that we will see the smartphone in the month of October and might in November.

As the market has sunk in excitement of 64MP camera smartphone the Xiaomi has also announced that they will bring a 100MP camera smartphone under Mi-brand. The 100MP upcoming smartphone will be said to using 108MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor. These information of upcoming 64MP and 100MP camera smartphone  was shared by Xiaomi in a Weibo post. Apart from that the brand hasn’t talked much on its specs or other details.

Now we know that Xiaomi will be using the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor for the 64MP camera. The Samsung has launched this sensor last month and they said “The ISOCELL Bright GW1 is a high 64-MP resolution image sensor designed to take bright and sharp photographs in any lighting with tetracell and 3d HDR technology.” On their website, they further added “The ISOCELL Bright GW1 features 0.8um pixel with ISOCELL Plus technology that significantly increases light sensitivity and color fidelity for more accurate and clearer photos.”

Apart from Xiaomi, many other brands like Realme and Samsung also set to launch their 64MP camera smartphone. Realme in a recent report also hinted that the next 64MP camera smartphone from Realme might be the Realme 5.
