OnePlus Smart TV is in Development, CEO Pete Lau Asks Users to Name It

China-based smartphone maker company OnePlus has just announced a big news that they are entering in a new industry apart from the smartphone industry within the electronics industry with its new product which is ‘OnePlus TV’.

The company revealed this report through a dedicated post on its OnePlus forums. OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau has announced that he will lead the new division alongside the existing smartphone division. In a press the CEO of OnePlus said ‘As other consumer electronics have evolved and improved our lives, televisions have remained conventional and cumbersome’.

As for now the company hasn’t revealed any other details of it new upcoming Smart TV like screen size and operating system. The executive of the company has asked the oneplus community to give an official name to its first TV. However the company is calling it OnePlus TV as for now but the final name will be revealed soon. The company has started a registration window for the purpose of naming it new product. The registration window will be open until 16th of October and the best 10 names will receive a pair of OnePLus Bullets Wireless which worth around Rs. 3,990. The name of all 10 winners will be announced at 17th of October and all the 10 winners will also receive the first OnePlusTV trip to its launch event.
