OnePlus 7 won’t be Launching with Wireless Charging Feature : Report

OnePlus has always stick to its motto ‘Never Settle’, and has continued launching the devices with premium features seen on high end devices at very affordable price. This all is also expected from its upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone.

Despite requests from its users, the OnePlus 7 won’t be coming with wireless charging feature this time. This statement gets confirmed by the CEO Pete Lau who said “OnePlus charging is one of the best. Wireless charging is far inferior.”

As we all know that this Chinese company is known to bring it phone with premium features, and leave out few to keep the cost aggressive. While we see the wireless charging in all new flagship smartphones including Apple but OnePlus seems to not convince to integrate it into its phones. The CEO said that they are working on wireless charging to perform better without heating up, but doesn’t reveal when it will be launching.

Moving towards the specification of the OnePlus 7, the company has already confirmed that the upcoming handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC integrated with Snapdragon X50 modem to facilitate 5G network connectivity. But apart from this all other specs details are mystery as for now. The company hasn’t said anything towards it.

At MWC 2019 the company showcased a 5G prototype, but they covered the device with a case that surrounds the side as well as large portion of its display. As for now the company is just hiding all the information of its next upcoming device. It is expected that they will be launch a new device in the month of May
