After getting delayed by a week, the all new Nokia X5 is now officially launched in a launch event in China. It is the second device after Nokia X6 in X-Series and also the second smartphone from Nokia which comes with Notch Display.

As for now the Nokia X5 is only launched for China. The global launch of this handset can be expected on 24th of July along with the Nokia X6 which is set to make global debut as Nokia 6.1 Plus.

Talking about the specification of this device, it features a 5.86-inch 19:9 aspect ratio notch display with HD+ resolution. The display of this handset offers 84% screen to body ratio. It is powered by Helio P60 octa-core processor with Mali-G72 GPU coupled with 3GB and 4GB of RAM comes with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. The storage can be further expanded using microSD card.

In terms of camera the Nokia X5 offers 13MP+5MP dual rear camera setup with f/2.0 aperture, it comes along with AI-based beauty and portrait modes. On front it offers a 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

Talking about other specification of this device, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It rear mounted fingerprint sensor and the device also support face-unlocking feature. It is powered by 3,060mAh battery. Talking about the network and connectivity options it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC.

The Nokia X5 is launched in two different variant one comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is priced at 999 Yuan (around Rs 9,999) and one comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is priced at 1399 Yuan (around Rs 13,999).

This handset might be globally launch with Nokia X6 but as for now there is no official news in regards on its Global Launch.
