HMD global is expected to unveil the successor of the Nokia 8.1 soon. The all new Nokia 8.2 smartphone is reported to come with support of 5G network connectivity. Apart from this, the Nokia 8.2 is also expected to be HMG Global’s first smartphone to come with pop-up selfie camera.
Nokia 8.2 Might be Powered by Snapdragon 735 & will come with up to 8GB of RAM: Report
In a recent report Nokia 8.2 is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC (successor to Snapdragon 730 SoC). Talking about the processor, the upcoming Snapdragon 700-series chipset might be based on a 7nm process for better power efficiency. Apart from this a report also suggested that it will bring the next generation AI Engine and improvement to performance and gaming.
According to some other report the company is expected to launch the Nokia 8.2 in three different storage variants which will include 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM having 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage respectively. If this report is to be believe then Nokia 8.2 will be the first smartphone under HMD Global to offer 8GB of RAM.
In terms of its design, one can expected a premium build quality as Nokia is a brand which didn’t compromise on handset quality, it will be also come Android One clean UI and promise of two years of software update. Moving towards the pop-up selfie camera, it is tipped to use a 32MP front facing camera in a pop-up module. On rear, the report suggests that it will feature quad rear camera and the main sensor will be of 64MP.
As for now we didn’t know when HMD Global is planning to launch the Nokia 8.2 smartphone, some report suggests that it will be unveiled in Mobile World Congress 2020 while some reports suggest that it will launch in November. But till now there is no official confirmation about its launch. So let’s see if there any announcement from HMD Global regarding this handset in coming weeks.
