LG G8 ThinQ will Feature 3D Front Camera for Face Unlock

LG has officially announced that there new flagship smartphone LG G8 ThinQ will have a secondary front facing ToF(Time of Light) sensor. It is not yet declared from the company that which one will be the next flagship smartphone of LG, it will be announced at the launch event scheduled for MWC 2019.

The ToF sensor is now being used in many smartphone, few weeks back Honor View 20 was launched which also have the same ToF sensor which was used to map 3D objects in the real world and also it adds body beautifications effects in both videos and pictures.

Actually the ToF sensor technology works by bouncing the infrared light off the subject to produce better image. It also helps in face unlocking, it helps to improve the security levels up for the unlocking of the smartphone via face unlocking and it is also helpful in giving more accurate background blur effect.

The sensor that will be used on this chipsets will be Infineon’s REAL3 chipset and has promised to give a new level of front facing photography. It is also rumoured that this handset will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.

Apart from these all, there is one m ore rumour that LG will launch this device with an attachable secondary screen. Let’s wait and see what else LG is planning to launch in MWC 2019. Be tuned with us for more Tech News.
