Few weeks back Huawei had launched P20 and P20 Pro Smartphone’s globally in Paris, and now the company has sent out teasers for the India launch of these mind blowing smartphones. Huawei has already sent the invites to media for the new smartphone launch event. As you have seen in the above teaser image the launch event is on 24th of April 2018.

The main highlight of the Huawei P20 pro smartphone is its triple camera sensor while the Huawei P20 is its smaller variant with dual camera setup on the rear side of the device.

At the global launch of these smartphone the Huawei P20 price has been set at EUR 649 (roughly around Rs. 52,200) while the bigger brother Huawei P20 pro price was at EUR 899 (roughly around Rs. 72,300). As of now there is no much or exact information regarding the pricing of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro for India, the actual India pricing of these smartphones will be announced at the launch by the company on 24th of April 2018.

Huawei P20, P20 Pro Specification and Feature Highlights

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro both the smartphone are Dual-SIM smartphone runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Both the smartphone also supports the Google ARCore.

Talking about the Display of the Huawei P20 sports a 5.8-inch Full HD+ RGBW (RGBW-w standing for White, and this meant to provide better sunlight legibility) Full View display having resolution of 1080×2244 pixels. The Huawei P20 Pro sports a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED Full View Display having a resolution of 1080×2240 pixels. Both the smartphone has a natural toned display which is comfortable and easy to use in any light condition.

Both the smartphone are also Powered by the huawei own HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC Octa-Core processor (four Cortex-A73 cores are clocked at 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.8GHz).They also comes with a dedicated NPU (neural processing unit). The Huawei P20 comes with 4GB of RAM having 128GB of internal storage while the Huawei P20 pro comes with 6GB of RAM having same 128GB of storage.

Coming towards the Camera, the Huawei P20 has a Dual rear camera setup with large 1.55-micron pixels, featuring a 12MP RGB sensor having f/1.8 aperture and 20MP monochrome sensor having f/1.6 aperture. The company said that this combination will give the superior low-light photography performance. On front this smartphone has a 24.8MP front facing camera for selfies.

The Huawei P20 pro comes with a triple rear camera setup which is the main highlight of this device an also the main highlight of the launch event. Talking about the camera of Huawei P20 Pro, the topmost lens is a 8MP sensor with 3x optical zoom telephoto lens, the second  lens is a 40MP RGB sensor while the third is a 20MP monochrome sensor. There is a laser transmitter and receiver between the large lenses for quicker autofocus and it also have Leica colour temperature sensor. The camera has a light sensitivity upto ISO 102400. The company said that this Huawei P20 Pro camera gives even better low-light performance than the P20, even at 1lux.

The Huawei P20 smartphone has an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance and packs a 3400mAh battery while the Huawei P20 Pro smartphone has an IP67 ration for dust and water resistance and packs a huge 4000mAh battery. Both the smartphone supports fast charging and company says that these handset can charge upto 0 to 58 percent in just 30-minutes.

Huawei is going to launch Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro in India on 24th of April 2018. The pricing will be reveled on the same day the company for India. We hope it will be around Rs. 50,000 considering the price of these smartphone in Global launch.
