Few weeks back just last month Honor has officially launched Honor 10i smartphone which was an upgrade of the Honor 10 Lite. Both the devices was having same internals only the difference was in camera. Now today the company has posted a new teaser video on its official Weibo account which says that the company is going to launch Honor 20i on 17th of April in a launch event in Beijing.
Honor 20i with 32MP AI front Camera launching on 17th of April
As we have seen in Honor 10i, the Honor 20i is also said to come with 32MP selfie camera. It’s not confirm but it seems like the company is planning to launch the Honor 10i smartphone as Honor 20i in China.
Moving towards the teaser, in the teaser the all new Honor 20i come with waterdrop notch display and have gradient color options. The interesting thing is that the newly launched Honor 10i is also come with waterdrop notch display and it is also available in Blue and Red color options with having gradient finish. But as for now we didn’t got the full specification so that it get clear that both the device are same or not.
If we talk about the last month launched Honor 10i, the device comes with 6.21-inch Full HD+ display having a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels with waterdrop notch at the top of it. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor with Mali G51 MP4 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the storage can be expanded via using hybrid SIM slot, where you can use either two SIM cards or one SIM and one memory card.
Apart from this the Honor 10i comes with triple rear camera setup which combines 24MP primary sensor having f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary sensor having f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor having f/2.4 aperture. On front it has 32MP front facing camera.
As for now there is not much information regarding the Honor 20i but as per the leaks and reports it is being claimed that the Honor 20i will be the Chinese version of Honor 10i. Lets wait for the next week and everything will get clear.
