BlackBerry has now launched its most awaited smartphone the BlackBerry Key 2 in a launch event in New York. The company has launched this as a successor of last year launched BlackBerry KEYone smartphone. As like the older one this new Blackberry Key 2 also comes with the QWERTY keyboard under the display, but along with that there’s more to the new smartphone than just that under display keyboard.

As like the older KEYone, the BlackBerry Key 2 also come with a physical QWERTY keyboard placed just below the display. the keyboard also has a fingerprint sensor inbuilt in the space-bar button, it also support few gestures and the keyboard comes with a customizable shortcut key.

BlackBerry Key2 Specification and Feature Highlights

The BlackBerry Key 2 sports a 4.5-inches 3:2 aspect ratio Display having a resolution of 1620x1080pixels. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company has said they will be launching one more DUAL variant with 128GB of internal storage with same 6GB of RAM.

In Terms of Camera, this smartphone offers a Dual-rear Camera setup whoch includes 12MP+12MP sensors. The Dual rear Camera offers 2X zoom and Potratit mode. In front it has a 8MP of front facing camera for selfies.

Talking about the other specs if this handset. it runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and also it comes with BlackBerry’s usual suite of apps like Hub, Priority Edge, DTEK security app and Calender. It has also a 3,500mAb battery with support for QuickCharge 3.0 Technology. The company said that they have an additional battery feature which will monitors how you can use the device and it will recommends when you should plug it in.

BlackBerry Key 2 Pricing and Availability

The BlackBerry Key 2 is available in Black and Silver Color option and it is available to pre-order and the shipping will begin in later this month. The 64GB model is priced at $649 in US (around Rs. 43,500). The company has also said that they will be launching a Dual-SIM variant with 128GB of internal storage in coming weeks.
