After Galaxy J6, Samsung Rebrands Galaxy J8 as Galaxy On8 in India

Few months back Samsung has launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 smartphones with super AMOLED Infinity Display in India. Couple of weeks ago the company has launched a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy On6 which was the re-branded version of Galaxy J6 with a cheaper price tag in India.

Today, the company has launched the Galaxy On8 smartphone which they priced in India at Rs. 16,990. This smartphone is also the re-branded version of Galaxy J8 which is currently in market at a price of Rs, 18,990. It seems that the largest smartphone brand is selling the same smartphone with a different name at different price for the same consumers.

The Galaxy On8 will be available from 6th of August on Flipkart and Samsung Online Shop. This handset will be available in two different color option Black and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy On8 Key Specification  and Feature Highlights

Talking about the specification of Samsung Galaxy On8, it sports a 6-inches HD+ super AMOLED Infinity Display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio having a resolution of 1480×720 pixels. it is powered by 14nm Snapdragon processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. the storage can be further expandable using microSD card upto 256GB.

In terms of Camera it offers a dual rear camera which consists 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture. On front it has a 16MP front facing camera. Both the camera comes with LED flash.

This handset is a dual SIM handset. it runs on ASamsung Experience UI over Android Oreo 8.0. it is powered by a 3,500mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include, 4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
